Project P.U.S.H. hosted an invite-only event at the sprawling mansion shared by CleRenda McGrady and her husband, seven time NBA All Star legend, Tracy McGrady. The gathering held on Aug. 25 in Sugar Land, Texas targeted “women of influence” with the goal to establish synergy, connections and collaborations.
Project P.U.S.H. was launched three years ago by certified life coach and luminary CleRenda McGrady to inspire, encourage and motivate women to give birth to their dreams. The acronym stands for Purpose-led, Unstoppable, Success-bound and Hope-filled. McGrady’s mission is to inspire and ignite women, who are being called to a bigger vision and version of themselves, to push beyond fear, insecurity and doubt to rise to their full potential and purpose.
Attendees arrived for pre-luncheon networking in the foyer of the McGrady home and were later escorted to a full-size basketball court decked out with gorgeous deep purple and pink table design accents provided by Brian Keith Productions and Keisha’s Kreations. Lunch was catered by Chef to the Stars Tiffani Janelle, and featured a three-course menu consisting of Caesar salad, berry chipotle chicken, mashed potatoes, asparagus, cucumber lime water, tropical tea, and other delectable delights.
The room was full of Houston’s influencers including philanthropist and wellness guru, Theresa Meyers-Roemer; First Daughter of Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Ashley Turner; ABC 13 news anchor Gina Gaston, Fox 26 news anchor Melinda Spaulding, publicist Sarni Jaye, and women from a myriad of backgrounds including attorneys, HR execs, publicists, moms, and more who exchanged dreams, laughter and business cards. After dining, guests were asked to speak briefly about themselves and how the other ladies in attendance could support them in their endeavors.
“Awesome event with wonderful ladies that are encouraging and inspiring others to be great. I’m so grateful to be apart of it!” gushed invitee Nikki Smith.
Program & Event Manager, Danielle Pollard, helped coordinate the lavish affair with event marketing provided by DP Marketing Strategies.
The next Project P.U.S.H. event will be the 2nd Annual Women Who P.U.S.H. Conference on Oct. 28, 2016 in Houston. McGrady invites the public to register online and join her “for a life-changing day of discovery and inspiration where we will engage with women nationwide who are ready to push past their limitation to success.”
