Dallas-based Conscious Couture Luxury Resale Events brought Fashion Fights Trafficking back to Houston’s CITYCENTRE district this past weekend, benefiting Real Beauty Real Women, founded by Jacquelyn Aluotto. The second annual, day-long fashion experience gave attendees a chance to shop sample sales from designer runway collections, high-end garments and accessories from vintage and consignment boutiques, plus pieces from the closets of local style influencers to raise funds to combat sex trafficking stateside and abroad.

Guests enjoyed runway elements, tips from celebrity stylist and fashion trend expert Jeannette Chivvis, cooking demos and samplings from The Black Vegan Company. Style Bosses and authors Cheryl Creuzot, Pastor Mia Wright, and Theresa Roemer along with Jacquelyn Aluotto, Staci Henderson and Jeanette Chiwis talked fashion, business and living your best life during the event’s lifestyle discussions.

Nearly half a million dollars of authentic, luxury merchandise was deeply discounted from 50 to 80 percent off retail. Participating vendors included Vintage Martini, Luxury Garage Sale, and Repeat Couture – spotlighting coveted labels like Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Chanel, Tom Ford and YSL – as well as regional and international design houses including Madame Adassa (Jamaica), Atelier Aliénor (France), Ferrah (Dallas), KAECI (Brazil), Chasity Sereal (Houston), and LAUNCH (Houston) all showcasing their latest designs and selling samples along with remaining merchandise from previous collections.

New to the event this year were Houston style setters Tina Zulu of Kimono Zulu with a pristine collection of vintage kimonos and Zoe Jackson-Jarra of Haute Mother Vintage with an eclectic assortment of men’s & women’s one-of-a-kind statement pieces, accessories, belts, bags and jewelry.
