2018 SXSW Conference keynote speakers and artists announced

South By Southwest (SXSW) has announced slated keynote speakers for the 2018 conference to be held March 9-18 in Austin, Texas. The lineup of speakers includes film keynote speaker Darren Aronofsky; best-selling author Luvvie Ajayi; United Shades of America host W. Kamau Bell and Spotify Chief Content Officer Stefan Blom. Also onboard are keynotes Ana Marie Cox, writer and host of With Friends Like These podcast, Ira Glass, This American Life creator and host bestselling author Daniel H. Pink, designer Yiying Lu, Roy Spence, GSD&M co-founder and chairman, Keith Urban, Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, and many more.

The new list of speakers join previously announced keynotes Ta-Nehisi Coates, Barry Jenkins, Esther Perel, and whurley.

The SXSW Music Festival segment of the conference will feature 200 exciting artists, including Korean rapper Jay Park, who recently signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation; Matador Records young new signing Snail Mail; award-winning drummer, composer and producer Moses Boyd; and breakout German singer and filmmaker Mogli.

The Austin-area conference will feature a diverse range of programming tracks for attendees including Brands & Marketing, Intelligent Future, Startup & Tech Sectors, VR/AR, and Workplace as well as specialty programming, including the Cities Summit.
