Crumb Scene Investigates: Put the Lime in the Coconut!

(Last Updated On: August 31, 2015)

My family loves fruit salads with our favorite summer fruits. But sometimes the fruits may not be as sweet as we would like – this dressing changes that with two simple ingredients. Yes, just two you are going to put the lime in the coconut, Goya brand Cream of Coconut that is. It comes in a 15 oz can. It is already sweetened so you are not adding any additional sugar to it. And in this recipe you will only be using about half of it so the rest can be used to make some delicious milkshakes. We like using vanilla ice cream and fresh pineapple. Trust me it is so good. Let’s get to it.

Coconut Lime Fruit Dressing
½ can of Goya Cream of Coconut
1 lime, washed, zest the whole lime

Garnish with coconut flakes, optional

Procedure: Combine the two together, drizzle as much as you want over your favorite fruit.

I know sometimes magic is that easy. You are welcome.
