The red carpet premiere of the powerful new feature film, Beautifully Broken will take place in the Nashville area before the film’s nationwide release in over 600 theaters on Aug. 24, 2018.
The film brings to the screen an inspiring true story of hope that shines the spotlight on a refugee’s escape, a prisoner’s promise, and a daughter’s painful secret. As three fathers fight to save their families, their lives become intertwined in an unlikely journey across the globe, where they learn the healing power of forgiveness and reconciliation. .
The film features Grammy award-winning gospel artist Cece Winans’ version of the song, “Beautifully Broken,” written by pop artist Plumb and Jenny Slate Lee.
Numerous celebrities are slated to attend the premiere including Winans, Dove Award-winning pop artist Plumb, Grammy award-winning country artist John Berry, Liris Crosse (Bravo’s Project Runway), TV Host Jawn Murray, Diggy Moreland (ABC’s The Bachelorette), Eric Bigger (ABC’s Bachelor In Paradise), Michael Oher, London Hibbs (Miss America’s Outstanding Teen), Beautifully Broken cast members Michael W. Smith, Benjamin Onyango, Scott William Winters, Eva Ndachi, Emily C. Hahn, Jessica Obilom, Tammi Arender (KNOE-TV/LA Rider), Executive Producers Randy Hartley and Chuck Howard, Director Eric Welch, William Mwizerwa, and CEO of D3 Entertainment Group Michelle Duffie.
The Compassion Experience will be on-site at the event inviting visitors on an audio-guided journey through an exhibit featuring replicas of the homes and environments of real children who have grown up under the weight of extreme poverty. Attendees will hear the child’s true life story, as told by professional voice actors in an immersive experience.
