Chubby Checker celebrates release of new single

(Last Updated On: October 2, 2014)

Chubby Checker performed the “Twist” on American Bandstand in 1962 and set off a song and dance craze for a whole generation, and today, is still making moves.

The music legend, whose iconic song is listed as Billboard’s Hot 100s All Time No. 1 song, paid a visit to KCOH studios in Houston recently to celebrate the release of his new single “Changes“.

During his visit, Checker was surprised with an drop-in visit from boxing great George Foreman who he invited to join in on his segment.

The pair engaged in a lively and insightful interview with Kidz View hosts Victoria Baynes Lopez and Iyanni Pradia that touched on his legendary past and the meaning behind his new song.
