MPAC ‘It’s A Wrap’ to present TV/Digital Content Forum

Houston, Texas – Feb. 13, 2017Mack Performing Arts Collective’s Education Program It’s A Wrap will present MPAC TV Forum- A Look At Television Broadcast and Digital Content from Development to Distribution beginning Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 with a kickoff reception, and continuing with panel sessions on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 in the Alumni Center, 3204 Cullen on the main campus of the University of Houston.

The Forum is designed to empower those presently working in the entertainment industry, particularly television, as well as those aspiring to get in the business of television with information designed to enhance their knowledge, skills, and confidence for success preparing them to work and excel right here in the Houston market.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, with support of the Houston Film Commission and Houston First among other private individuals, recently announced his mission to bring the Film and Television production business to Houston at an Entertainment Summit held Jan. 12-14, 2017 stating “Houston is open for business!”

MPAC is preparing the aspiring professionals for that business. The TV Forum is sited to be a must-attend annual session offering a one-stop resource where attendees network with and learn TV Show Business from industry experts, experience some of the latest technology and discover new content. MPAC has created panels that will EMPOWER, INSPIRE, and MOTIVATE business success.

This one-of-a-kind dynamic approach employed by MPAC continues to position the organization amongst the cream of the crop, by connecting industry professionals with aspiring industry professionals for an informative, yet stimulating two days.
