REVOLT Music Conference kicks off in Miami Beach

REVOLT officially kicked off the third annual REVOLT Music Conference (RMC) on Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Eden Roc Miami Beach Hotel and will run through Sunday, Oct. 16.

Sean “Diddy” Combs, REVOLT chairman, hosted an opening ceremony to celebrate the weekend-long event featuring an unprecedented lineup of panels and performances.

Miami Beach Mayor, Philip Levine, proclaimed Thursday, October 13, 2016 as ‘Sean “Diddy” Combs Day’ and DJ Khaled was presented with the (major) key to the city of Miami Beach.

The kick-off event featured performances by Ro James, Kent Jones, and Mario, and also included appearances by Derek Ferguson (REVOLT COO), Bill Talbert (president/CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau), and Laurence Dubey (general manager of The Nobu Eden Roc Resort).

The future leaders of Bad Boy Entertainment, Justin Combs (entrepreneur) and Christian Combs (artist) as well as Andre Harrell (REVOLT vice chairman and chair of the REVOLT Music Conference) debuted the second part of the brand’s docu-series “Free Flow: Politickin” where they recently sat down with national lifestyle apparel and footwear retailer, Footaction, to discuss the evolution of the family business, hip-hop, and how their personal style plays a role from the boardroom to the stage.  To view Footaction’s docu-series and more, visit the brand’s YouTube page.

The ceremony also reinforced the recently launched CÎROC “Let’s Get It” Movement.  After the presentation DJ Khaled and the makers of CÎROC hosted Cocktails with Khaled.  The exclusive media event previewed the “Let’s Get It:  The Mango Story” while communicating more about the new variant and overarching partnership with DJ Khaled.  In addition to Mango inspired installations, guests in attendance were treated carefully curated food and CÎROC Mango pairings featuring the new signature cocktails.

Each year RMC features influencers, music executives, songwriters, producers, bloggers and music artists colliding to create a collaborative space and a one-of-a-kind forum designed to help guests understand and navigate the evolution of the music business.
