If you missed Silvanus LaToison’s recent one night only performance at the Ensemble Theatre, you missed a “Real Love Experience.”
The live music concert, presented by Gibson Entertainment Firm, brought an eclectic mix of performances to the stage as LaToison performed top hits by Stevie Wonder, Nat King Cole, Luther Vandross as well as several gospel selections and a number of his own original songs.
It is no surprise that LaToison has performed in musical venues alongside musical greats such as Willie Nelson, Beyonce and Aerosmith or sung background for artists such as Michael W. Smith, Israel Houghton, CeCe Winans and a host of other talented performers.
The Detroit native did not disappoint during his one night show as he carried audience members on a musical journey across a diverse mix of gospel, Old School to R&B musical genres with a number of seamless, showstopping performances.
Joining the gifted vocalist on stage were a number of artists, including Werner Richmond, Samantha West, Sheleah Monea, Simone Skye, Kathryn O’Neal who showcased their talents.
The night of song was topped off with performances by special guests Roenia Thompson and James Michael Greathouse IV.
