H-E-B is serving as the title sponsor the 6th Annual Nzuri Natural Hair Festival, the nation’s largest Natural Hair, Health & Makeup Holiday Shopping Festival & Expo. The expo takes place December 13-14 at the NRG Center in Houston and will showcase over 100 of the nation’s best hair, body and beauty exhibitors featuring health, natural hair, makeup/beauty products and demonstrations. This year’s event is definitely a can’t miss for all healthy hair enthusiasts as well as health and beauty-conscious consumers.
Leola Anifowoshe, co-founder of the Nzuri Natural Hair, Health and Makeup Festival & Expo, is extending a special invitation to every man, woman, boy and girl throughout the greater Houston area, and beyond, to come out this year and experience a wide array of exciting activities that promise to educate, motivate and empower. Every presentation is designed to inspire and educate attendees on how to create the Nzuri lifestyle; nzuri is Swahili for beautiful.
This year’s theme is “What’s Health Got to Do With Hair?”
“We are bringing together the finest talent and exhibitors from across the country to showcase the newest products and services in the market and provide healthy hair education to consumers hope to have healthy, natural hair and beauty,” says Anifowoshe.
In addition to the natural hair, beauty and health-conscious consumer, this African American holiday festival and expo caters to professional salon stylists and makeup artists. Attendees will enjoy numerous styling tips; a first-class Natural Hair Stylist Showcase; H-E-B Beauty Managers giveaways and prizes; two full days of non-stop entertainment on the main stage; and, more than 20 workshops ranging from biracial hair styling to “How to Grow Your Own Hair.”
