The Vera Moore Cosmetics brand is capturing the spotlight.
In February, Moore’s “Riviera Red” blush will be featured in the February issue of Essence magazine in an article entitled “Off The Charts” by Nikia Spradley. Moore’s blush is spotlighted alongside many other well known brands in the industry.
Last month, Vera Moore’s pearlized eyeshadow in “24 Kt” was included in Essence’s Beauty Box, a monthly subscription service of premium beauty products delivered to the doors of subscribers.
In July, Moore also was featured in People Magazine’s “My American Dream” column where she recounted her journey from actress to makeup mogul.
President and CEO of Vera Moore Cosmetics, the New York native’s affordable premium brand of cosmetics and skin care products currently can be found nationally in 50 plus select Duane Reade/Walgreens stores in the upscale “LOOKboutique” beauty section.
The former actress turned entrepreneur has appeared on Broadway and was contracted on national television (NBC) as one of the first black actresses on the iconic soap “Another World” where she portrayed the character “Linda Metcalf” for a decade.
She is a coveted speaker and has been featured in and graced the covers of Black Enterprise Magazine, Empower Magazine, The Network Journal’s 25 Influential Black Women in Business, Wall Street Journal, Crain’s, WWD, Beauty Magazine, NMBC Better Business, and Ebony Magazine, to name a few.
The beauty industry pioneer continues to reach for “moore” as she positions the company for growth with Walgreens and the global market.
