LS 1426 Curves Swim Week Brings Local Designers to Showcase this Season’s Latest Swimwear Trends

(Last Updated On: June 13, 2015)

Summer is finally here and sandy white beaches accompanied by brisk blue waters are calling your name, but there is only one thing holding you back, you don’t think your body type will look great in a monokini or a bikini.  Ladies have no fear, this summer you can wear what you want no matter your size or shape.

Fashion industry extraordinaire, Linda Scott, of LS 1426 has come to save the day by hosting LS 1426 Curves Swim Week, which is set for June 12-14, 2015, which will showcase swimwear trends by designers exclusively crafted for women sizes 14-26.

Swim Week will kick off Friday at Club Blaunsch in Sugar Land with a meet and greet with fashion industry leaders and local swimwear designers.

After you dance the night away, models and aspiring models, head over to the Art Institute of Houston-North on Saturday, for a Model Workshop with Anthony Davis of Franz Fanon Image Consulting and other fashion industry panelists who will exchange tips and secrets for success in the industry.  This session is open to the public and admission is $25.00 per person.

To end things off fashionably, the Sheraton North Houston will host the 2015 Spring/Summer swimwear fashion show on Sunday with collections from 16 local and national designers including Gigi Jovie Designs, MiMi Pericles CEO, Beware Swimwear and many more.  Fashion show tickets are $25.00 pre-sale and $35.00 at the door.

This event is one you don’t want to miss.  For more information on LS 1426 and swim week events, visit www.1426-fashionweek.com.
