A seasoned troupe of models will take to the stage for an evening of fashion and glamour at the 22nd Annual Forty Plus Models, Inc. Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Show.
The event, themed “Fashions In A Glamorous World”, will take place at 2:30 p.m. on April 19 at the Crowne Plaza Houston Hotel.
Debra “Lady” Lockett, president/CEO of Forty Plus Models, Inc. has carried on the legacy started by her mother, Callie Lewis-Watson.
The organization, officially launched by Lewis-Watson in 1993, was designed as a platform to promote a sense of fashion and style for mature women and men, provide non-traditional scholarship opportunities for students in need and promote leadership and awareness in the community.
According to Lockett, the group’s scholarship program caters to the needs of the “average” student who most academic scholarship programs don’t consider.
“We are providing scholarships for promising students, in need, to pursue their dreams of obtaining a higher education, which is very important,” said Lockett.
Owner of Callie’s Hats and Heels in Pearland, Texas, Lockett incorporates her diverse selection of high fashion hats into her annual scholarship fashion show.
