Fashionista’s get ready to merge fashion and empowerment this weekend for a “Pre- Labor Day Experience” hosted by VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Cyn Santana with a celebrity fashion show and a beauty brunch to benefit suicide awareness.
Kick off the weekend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, at Davis Street at Herman Park with the Women’s Empowerment Beauty Brunch that will feature a sneak peak of the Oxygen Network’s Bad Girls Club star Aysia Garza’s new online boutique, Inside My Look. The event will also include a VIP meet and greet with Cyn Santana and a styling session with stylist Cierra De’Chaun.
Also, be prepared to hear a panel discussion on business and branding with panelists LaToya Hurley, founder of Innovating Marketing & Management, Moni P., celebrity makeup artist, Monique Nelms, founder of A Daily Diva, and Jeanette Huff, salon owner, author and cosmetology instructor. Some topics that the panel will touch on will be The Power of Social Media, Branding 101, Breaking into the Beauty Industry, Tax Breaks for Beauty Professionals and Business Strategies that Will Take Your Business to the Next Level.
If you miss the empowerment brunch on Saturday, then you can pick up some fashion tips for the fall at 10 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, at Mr. Peeples during the All White Celebrity Charity Fashion Show, where Cyn Sanatana will present her line Nu by Cyn Santana and Garza will also premiere looks from her online boutique. Other designers that will showcase their collections for the event will be Pardon My Fash-Uhn, LuvXoxo Boutique, Silent Reign, Sundaze Maze, Kandi Kinis, Bawter Bowties and Born Poor Live Rich & Lux Monroe Boutique.
