Carnegie Hall hosts night of inspiration

It will be A Night of Inspiration  at New York’s Carnegie Hall on Dec. 6 as a powerhouse line up of outstanding soloists take the stage in Stern Auditorium, lead by  composer, music director, and producer, Ray Chew, and a 64-piece orchestra. The acclaimed composer will be joined by Dr. Lester W. Taylor directing a 200-voice mass choir in a program of uplifting music showcasing diverse traditions.

Houston’s own Yolanda Adams will be among the line-up of Gospel greats, including Shirley Caesar, Donnie McClurkin, Kurt Carr, Richard Smallwood as well as New Faith Church from Cape Town, South Africa.

American operatic tenor, Lawrence Brownlee, Cantor Azi Scwartz, Olen Cesari and Dionne Warwick will lend their diverse talents to the night of inspiration, with additional artists to be announced.
