MPAC (Mack Performing Arts Collective) will host a party like no other party as it launches its 1990’s House Party-themed Summer Soiree to raise funds for educational programs that empower youth and adults who aspire to gain insights and knowledge about the arts and entertainment industries.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 29, 7 – 11 p.m. at the Sweetwater Country Club at 4400 Palm Royale Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas 77479.
Coordinators promise an event that will be “No Stuffy Gala” but a “House Party with a Purpose.” Attendees must be 21 or older and are invited to wear their favorite House Party movie or ’90s-themed costume and to get ready to do 1990 dance moves to the music of some of their favorite 90s artists as well as current music.
This house party fundraiser will allow attendees to create new memories with a 1990s night of food, cash bar, DJ Supreme The Gink in the mix, live entertainment, best costume contest, raffles, silent auction, and more.
This fun-filled party with a purpose will also honor select special individuals Rushion McDonald, Ricky Anderson & Jerri Moore who have all made an iMPACt on the arts and entertainment industry in the Houston area.
The event aims to reach its minimum goal of $50K to grow programs that support youth and adults in the area of arts and entertainment and help MPAC operate such programs and events from their own home.
Interested sponsors, vendors or businesses or individuals interested in purchasing an ad in the souvenir booklet are asked to email: firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit MPAC website or click here.
