CeCe Winans Sines Bright at GMA Dove Awards

[Los Angeles, CA] — Gospel music icon CeCe Winans continues her historic run, winning two awards at the 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards in Nashville. In a joyous evening shared with her peers, Winans took home Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year: “Come Jesus Come” a collaboration with gospel music legend Pastor Shirley Caesar and Christmas Recorded Song of the Year: “Joy to The World.”
“This is an incredible honor,” said Winans. “I’m grateful to God, my family, my team, and every person who has supported me through the years. To be recognized in this way is both humbling and inspiring, and I pray the music continues to touch hearts around the world.”
With this year’s wins, Winans further cements her place as the most-awarded female gospel artist of all time. She now holds 33 Dove Awards and 17 Grammy Awards, alongside a legacy of platinum and gold-selling albums and sold-out tours.
