Dr. Roshanne Allen, noted organizational leader, thought strategist, and philanthropist, received the highly coveted Compass Clock of Conscience at this year’s 2023 World Leaders Summit of Love and Peace (March 28). Focused on celebrating proven champions of love, unity, and world peace; the upscale awards ceremony was held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. before an audience of national and international figures.

Among dignitaries and luminaries present were Jan Du Plain of Du Plain Global Enterprises and liaison to over one hundred embassies, Harlem Globetrotter Bobby Hunter, Her Excellency Dr. E. Faye Williams, President of the National Congress of Black Women, Ambassador Bocchit Edmon, AMB. for Haiti to the United States, Isabelle Vladoiu, Founder of the U.S. Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights, Mr. Dace Naves, Retired NASA engineer and Harlem Globetrotter, Dr. David Nash, founding dean of the Jefferson College of Population Health, Todd Carson, Senior Director at Wharton School, and others.

Presented by Dr. Tao-Tze Hong, Founder and President of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL), The Compass Clock of Conscience symbolizes that “everyone is encouraged to follow the guidance of their conscience at all times.”

With that said, Dr. Allen, who began her career working with Fortune 100 companies before pivoting to education and philanthropy, has personified that call to action. For the last 18 years, she has operated her organization Well of Water Inc., which advocates for and provides resources to underserved communities. The organization has adopted three different primary, middle and secondary schools on the continent of Africa. Additionally, she provides coaching and organizational leadership training through her company PK Vision Leadership Symposium, which includes a program called “It’s Time to Shine,” available for streaming every Monday at 9 a.m. EST on The NOW Network.

Receiving the prestigious award has only further fueled her desire to contribute to the elevation of humanity.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to be counted amongst dignitaries and luminaries nationally and globally,” Dr. Allen said. “This is a part of my life that holds an indelible mark in my heart. The fact that the work I have done this many years has been recognized gives me inspiration and motivation to continue with the torch to move forward.”

In today’s global society, the daunting challenges posed by war crises, financial imbalance, human rights violations, poverty, and increasing climate change remain. Therefore, leaders such as Dr. Allen plan to continue to convene and collaborate in an effort to find solutions to these obstacles. Organizations like FOWPAL remind her that her work has not been in vain – yet, the battle against anger, greed and ignorance must be won.

“Without love, there is no peace; love is the precursor of peace,” Dr. Allen said. “Each of us should take an inward evaluation of our love towards one another. If we do not allow the agape love to encompass us, there will be no peace, but if we do allow that to take place within us, peace and tranquility shall prevail.”
