Disclosure Day is adapted from a screenplay by David Koepp, and based on a story by Spielberg. The film features a standout cast consisting of Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo.
Spielberg directed Disclosure Day to be one of the year’s most thought-provoking cinematic experiences which challenges the viewing audiences to consider humanity’s place in the universe while exploring questions of faith, identity, and existence. The movie also strives to challenge us to consider how faith and the possibility of other life forms can coexist in our endlessly vast and unexplored universe.
“The film’s ending for me reached a predictable conclusion, as implied by the title, but builds steadily and remains engaging throughout. Many moviegoers will likely be drawn to the film because it is directed by the legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg. Overall, Disclosure Day is an enjoyable and entertaining movie that is well worth a viewing.” – Leon Jenkins, EM Movie Critic.
