Sunday night at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards was a record-breaking night in music as Houston native, Beyoncé, made Grammy history for the most wins by any artist after winning the Best Electronic/Dance Album for “Renaissance.” The win marked the 32nd time that the iconic music artist has been awarded the music industry’s top award.

The multi-talented artist also took Grammy’s home for Best R&B song for “Cuff It,” Best Dance Recording for “Break My Soul,” and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa.”

Another Houston music artist was recognized at this year’s Grammy Awards’ ceremony as Lizzo won Best Record for “About Damn Time.” In her award speech, she thanked Beyonce for inspiring her to make music that moved people.
