Celebrating 15 Years of Storytelling: Micole Williams
In an intimate gathering at Houston’s DeLuxe Theater, film lovers, close collaborators and supporters came together to celebrate Micole Williams, founder of Eclectically You Experience, and her 15 years in filmmaking. It was an evening of reflection, conversation and appreciation for a career defined by insightful storytelling and dedication to the power of indie films.
The showcase featured a curated selection of Williams’ film and award-winning documentary projects, including Tangled Web of True Love Tales, exploring the complexities of love; 365 Days in LA, her autobiographical journey of ambition, risk and self-discovery; and How Do You Hear God?, a thoughtful documentary examining faith and spiritual connection. Williams’ body of creative works highlight the Houston filmmakers’ commitment to developing a mix of character-driven narratives and authentic documentary-style reflections that resonate deeply with audiences.
The festival closed with a candid conversation with Williams. The moderator asked a series of questions that gave festival goers insight into Williams’ creative philosophy and her mantra to “greenlight yourself.” The evening closed with a round of applause and heartfelt appreciation, proving that the impact of Williams’ vision and artistry is undeniable—and far from finished.
